Deck Builders in Middleton

Middleton is eighteen to twenty miles northwest of Meridian in Canyon County, about half an hour by road. It sits at the outer edge of a comfortable working radius from Meridian, and it has grown quickly enough that new subdivision housing now sits alongside the older small-town core.

Middleton splits neatly in two. The new subdivision housing on the edges is the same conversation as Star: modern construction, flat lots, first decks, and a composite-versus-cedar decision. The older core and the surrounding acreage are the Nampa conversation: varied construction, free-standing framing where the wall is unknown, and more detached structures than attached ones.

The larger lots here also mean more exposure. Without much wind break, a Middleton deck takes weather from every direction, and covered structures are a bigger share of the work than they are in a sheltered Meridian subdivision.

Middleton permits through Canyon County jurisdiction rather than Ada, so the counter is different from Meridian's even though the code is the same statewide 2018 International Residential Code. For projects at this distance, it is worth asking a builder directly whether the scope justifies the drive; the honest answer on a small repair is often no.
